In – Year Admissions
Children may be admitted to school during the academic year. The following procedure is followed when a child is transferring from a local authority school or from beyond North Tyneside. Regardless of whether a parent or carer approaches the school directly or through the local authority, they will be required to complete an application form which is returned to the local authority to enable them to apply the equal preference scheme.
In accordance with the School Admission Appeals Code admission authorities must publish a timetable for organising and hearing appeals.
