This year the entire school will be using Seesaw (http://seesaw.me), a secure online journal where children can document what they are learning in class. Your child will be able to add photos, video, worksheets, drawings and voice recordings to their journal which we will share privately with you and your family. You can then view and comment on your child's work.
We will be using Seesaw for our home learning this year and the children will receive a homework grid each half term uploaded to the site. Children will need to complete a piece of homework weekly and upload it into the homework inbox on the Seesaw site. The teacher will then be able to give your child feedback. Homework grids will also be placed on the class learning page of the website and a paper copy can also be requested.
In the event of a lockdown or quarantine situation your child will use Seesaw to complete work and upload it. Please see the remote learning plan below for further information.
